The Photosmart M437 features HP’s Real Life technologies to ensure you of clear and crisp photos each time. The first of these is the HP Steady Photo Anti-shake feature. It prevents blurry photos, often caused by a shaky hand or a moving subject, by automatically adjusting the ISO sensitivity and the shutter speed. Another is the Red Eye removal system. As its name would suggest, this system detects red eye and automatically removes it while your image is still in the camera. this is a common problem among digital camera users and this feature saves you time in editing your images.

The Photosmart M437 makes it easy to email and share your images through the HP Photoshare express. As soon as you get the shot, you can tag and select its destination with the touch of a button. Then hook it up to a computer with HP Photosmart Essential Software and send it to a printer, an e-mail, or an online album.

The preset scene modes in the Photosmart M437 allow you take pictures in almost any condition. Once you’ve selected a scene, the M437 does all the setting and adjustments for that specific scene. All you have to do is point and shoot. Your options are Auto, Close-Up, steady Photo, Theater, Landscape, portrait, Action, Night Portrait, and sunset. Once you’ve taken the shot, you can add artistic effects on it with the available selections in M437’s Design Gallery, such as adding borders or changing its color to sepia or black and white.

Video recording with Photosmart M437 is captured in 320x250 at 24 frames per second with WAV audio. The length of the video depends on the available memory.

The simplified functions on the Photosmart M437 make it easy to use. It seems that in this camera you can do almost everything with just a touch of a button. For instance, at the back on the top, you will find the controls for Zoom, Image delete, Flash mode, and the Mode selector for Still, Movie, and Playback. The Menu/OK button brings p the menu and accepts the selections you’ve chosen with the 4-way selector.
