Panasonic DMC-FZ8 Digital Camera Review

The Panasonic DMC-FZ8 digital camera is a state-of-the-art innovation by Panasonic that exceeded its predecessor in terms of design and features. The 7.2 megapixel camera boasts of a 12x zoom along with the LEICA lens that provides vivid detail and quality even to the far-away subject. An Optical Image Stabilizer (OIC) provides that stability that each photo needs.

The design of the FZ8 fits any user, may it be professional or amateurs. The LCD screen located at the back of the camera sports a size of 2.5-inches in stunning 207,000 TFT colors. The OIS minimizes the effect of blurring due to shaky hands or other factors that can reduce the overall quality of your shots. The OIS keeps the lens axis aligned with the CCD to ensure clear and sharp images even when on the move. Integrated within the FZ8 is an Intelligent ISO system that stabilizes the shots taken when the subject is on the move by increase the shutter speed thus making sure that the subject is taken in full detail without worrying about blurry images.

The Venus Engine III graces the Panasonic DMC-FZ8 with its high sensitivity settings. This engine reduces noise dramatically with its system. The chromatic noise is analyzed differently with the rest of the noise thus making sure that you get a clear image complete even the minute of details. Light-sensitive sensors are incorporated in the unit to produce desired image results in any lighting conditions.

The DMC-FZ8 boasts of its start up time of 1.8 seconds, which is perfect for spontaneous shots especially outdoors. This unit offers a variety of scene modes to accommodate almost any scenario. These scene modes can be access through the LCD screen and can be changed accordingly. These scene modes are: Portrait, Soft Skin, Scenery, Sports, Night Portrait, Night Scenery and many more to choose from.
